Over the past decade, youth hockey has become increasingly expensive. Rising ice fees, travel costs, equipment prices, and privatized rink ownership have pushed the sport out of reach for many middle-class and working families. As corporate investment groups continue acquiring local rinks and youth programs, the cost of participation continues to climb leaving countless kids behind.
We believe hockey should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford elite pricing.
